About Us
Our Story
C&V Kansas Doors originally began in 1976 as C&V Home Improvement with owners Larry Vogt and Dennis Carson, offering insulation to begin with. Over the next few years Dennis saw a need and he added siding, wraps, doors, windows, and gutters.
After over 30 years in the business, Dennis was looking to retire, and Matt Hoisington became the proud new owner of what was then called C&V Home Improvement.
Soon after the company's 40th year in business, Matt had an opportunity to purchase Kansas Doors and added commercial and residential overhead doors and operators. After the merger of the two companies, the business became known as C&V Kansas Doors. In 2020 C&V Kansas Doors merged with Wells Seamless Guttering.

Wells Seamless Guttering
After 45 years in business, Ken Wells, owner of Wells Seamless Guttering, announced his retirement. Instead of closing the shop, Wells entered into an agreement with C&V Kansas Doors.
“I’d just like to say ‘thank you’ to the many customers I have had over the past 45 years. It’s fun to drive around town and see the hundreds of homes I have touched over the years. I know my company is in good hands,” said Wells.
A Professional Collaboration
C&V Kansas Doors has been a friendly competitor of Wells for many years, both businesses serving Central Kansas since the mid 1970s. The merger officially took place on July 1, 2020, and Wells’ customers can enjoy continued service for years to come.
Matt Hoisington stated:
“This is a great opportunity for Ken and his family to continue the Wells’ reputation as one of the longest-running gutter businesses in Central Kansas. We currently have a full-time gutter crew and this merger will potentially allow us to add a second crew.”
